What is salvation without Hell? What is grace without wrath?
Christians need to stop peddling the Gospel and presenting this wishy washy Jesus who wants you to love Him because He loves you too.
The Gospel is more than that.
It’s Jesus Christ dying for you because He doesn’t want you to go to Hell. And if you don’t accept the sacrifice He paid for you, God will have to punish you because He is perfectly just. A perfect judge doesn’t pardon any criminal; a perfect judge never looks the other way.
God loved us so much that He found a way to be perfectly just, and perfectly loving. He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to pay for the crimes that you committed. So you could legally live. So that you would not perish; you would not eternally die.
That is the Gospel.
